Wow …..I Honestly don’t know what to say other than Thank you, thank you & Thank you!

On the 2nd of September the Venus Awards held there Finalist Announcement at the lovely Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth. I have met some amazing and inspirational women during this experience and heard some wonderful stories about what they do.

Musical Talent is a new category for the Venus Awards this year and is Sponsored by Fizz Benefits. There were so many talented people up for this category and I honestly don’t know how they decided on the final 3!

I never even thought I would even have a chance of being a finalist, and having a semi – finalist title was amazing enough for me, however to get through as a finalist is beyond words I was actually shocked & speechless and overcome with emotion.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Hotel and each category was being called one by one. Nick From Fizz Benefits attended the event to announce who was through to the finals. My name was called last and I couldn’t  believe it!

It was lovely to meet the other finalists and to personally Thank our sponsor for putting me through to  the finals and to tell them personally how much it means.

I still don’t know who nominated me but who ever you are thank you so much for putting me forward, it means so much to me and just to be nominated was amazing in itself! So thank you!

So …what now I hear you ask…… well the awards ceremony will be on the 20th of October 2016! At Bournemouth’s BIC, so excited I cant tell you! The finalist for Musical Talent get to sing 2 songs to the audience that night and it is down to the audience vote after. Its very exciting and I love how its different.

I honestly can not tell you how much being a finalist means to me, I cant put it into words. I have been on such a journey and its just so nice and comforting to know that i must be doing something right and that all my hard work over the years are paying off. I have had a lot of battles to fight and just to be noticed by someone for putting me up for this awards honestly means the world and I Cant thank you enough!

Whatever happens on the night its going to be amazing! The other two acts are so talented as well, its going to be alot of fun! And I’m happy with just being at the awards and singing my heart out on that Stage, especially as its at the BIC, I mean that’s any singers dream to sing on a big stage at a massive venue! So Thank you for the opportunity.

I know I have said thank you like 1000 times in this blog but seriously Thank you to every single one of you, without you guys i wouldn’t be doing what i love, i really do appreciate your love & support over the years it doesn’t go unnoticed and its been amazing that I get to share this amazing experience with you all!
